Funeral valet

Funeral valet in New York and New Jersey

On the day of a funeral, nobody should have to circle the block looking for a space. Our attendants take care of the cars quietly and respectfully, so families and guests can focus on each other.

Quiet, careful service on a hard day

Our crews keep a low profile and work at a calm pace, so the day is a little easier for everyone who comes to pay their respects.

01

Quiet at the entrance

Our attendants speak softly and stay out of the way.

02

Room for the procession

The hearse and family cars get their own space, away from guest parking.

03

Care for older guests

Older guests get a hand out of the car and a short walk inside.

04

Unhurried departures

Cars are brought back at a steady pace when the service ends.

Arrival

A gentle welcome for every guest

Guests are met at the curb by a uniformed attendant who opens the car door, takes the keys, and points the way inside.

Families deal with one person throughout the service, our supervisor, so no one has to track down an attendant in the parking lot.

The procession

A clear path for the procession

We work out with the funeral director where the hearse waits and where the family cars line up, then park guest cars away from both. Our supervisor stays in touch with the director so the family cars are ready when it’s time to leave.

  • Guest cars parked away from the family’s line
  • Supervisor in touch with the funeral director

Church and reception

From the service to the gathering after

Many families go from a funeral home or church to a gathering afterward. Tell us both addresses on the first call, and we’ll plan the parking at each stop.

Short notice

When the service is only days away

Funerals are rarely planned far ahead. If the service is in the next day or two, call (718) 536-9350 rather than sending a request, so we can go over the details while you’re on the phone.

  • Call for a service in the next day or two
  • Send a request for anything further out

We’re fully insured. If the funeral home or church needs proof of insurance, ask when you call.
